Inkontileka ye-EPC yasePutukezi i-CJR Renewable imemezele ukuthi isayine isivumelwano nenkampani yase-Ireland i-Atlas Renewable yokwakha uhlelo lokugcina amandla ebhethri angu-200 MW/800 MWh BESS.
Iisitoreji sebhethri samandla elangakulindeleke ukuthi iqale ukusebenza ngo-2022 futhi izomataniswa nesikhungo sikagesi welanga esingu-244 MW Sol del Desierto esisedolobheni lase-Maria Elena esifundeni sase-Antofagasta eChile.
Qaphela: I-Sol del Desierto isendaweni engamahektha angama-479 futhi inamaphaneli elanga angama-582,930, akhiqiza cishe ugesi ongama-kWh ayizigidi eziyizinkulungwane ezingama-71.4 ngonyaka. Isikhungo sokuphehla amandla elanga sesisayine kakade Isivumelwano Sokuthenga Amandla Kagesi (i-PPA) seminyaka eyi-15 ne-Atlas Renewable Energy kanye nenkampani engaphansi kwe-Engie yaseChile, i-Engie Energia Chile, ukuhlinzeka ngogesi ongama-kWh ayizigidi eziyizinkulungwane ezingu-5.5 ngonyaka.
- Iphrojekthi 3:
Unjiniyela waseSpain u-Uriel Renovables umemezele ukuthi indawo yabo yokuphehla amandla elanga i-Quinquimo kanye nesikhungo se-BESS esingu-90MW/200MWh zithole ukugunyazwa kokuqala kwenye iphrojekthi yokuthuthukisa.
Lo msebenzi uhlelelwe ukuqala ukwakhiwa eSifundeni sase-Valparaiso, amakhilomitha angu-150 enyakatho yeSantiago, eChile, ngo-2025.

Isitoreji sebhethri sesikali esikhulu siyinkambiso enenzuzo e-Chile nakwamanye amazwe, njengoba sisiza ukushayela uguquko lwamandla ahlanzekile, sithuthukise ukusimama kanye nokuvumelana nezimo kwezinhlelo zamandla.
